Like most of the dragons in DarkFire's lair, Siren was "adopted" into the lair family. She joined the lair with her new friend Banshee. Both were fleeing from arranged marriages in lairs that refused to even name them.
Although she had very basic genes, she soon earned the name "Siren", as she was able to lure familiars to her. With so many familiars, and so few dragons to bond with them, Siren became the lair "familiar keeper", and bonds with all the familiars that are dragonless, daily, being careful not to neglect her own familiar, the Sunspot Clouddancer.
